Arilus these are watches made in France with materials and know-how from the Savoie region.
This brand was born from the passion of one man : Christophe Quillon. With his experience in Research & Development for luxury products combined with his love of design, it was only natural that he decided to launch its own brand.
Arilus watches stem from a place steeped in history and tradition. The material is deliberately at the heart of this local object : slate from Morzine, a bracelet made of Alpine sheep’s wool, a stainless steel case from Ugine. The materials are transformed by a selection of local companies and artisans, whose know-how is sometimes unique in the region.
After having exhibited one of its models in our Courchevel branch during the winter of 2021-2022, Christophe Quillon is launching, in association with Alexandra Carle, its new watch as a tribute to the history of Chamonix.
The brand’s aim is to pass on the past through a technical and contemporary approach to the professions from the past. Arilus offers you, through a unique object, the story of those men who had the ambition to climb the Mont Blanc and all those who still contribute today to the prestige of this mythical place.
'A product of excellence that will forever mark the owner's sense of attachment to this exceptional place'
For this men’s model, Arilus integrates local materials : the Morzine slate for the dial is protected by a stainless steel case from Ugine for the top-of-the-range watchmaking.
The strap is made of « muletière », a material made from Alpine sheep’s wool, sought after for its incomparable resistance.
Arilus is also committed to a circular economy by selecting local manufacturers and artisans for the production.
The choice of a mechanical Swiss movement with manual winding makes it a high-end product. The visible back is finished in « Côte de Genève » and circular graining.
The Grand Arc is a summit that overlooks the Tarentaise region in the light of its predecessor ; at its feet, the Olympic city.
It reaches an altitude of 2,484 metres. Each piece is engraved with this reference 2484 followed by an individual 0/9 number which provide its origin and traceability.
